The leading international art fair in West Africa announces the theme for its 9th edition–"Promised Lands".
Opening from 31 October—3 November 2024, the fair poses two questions: where do we go, as Nigerians and Africans? And how do we hope to get there?. "Promised Lands" will explore places, real and imagined, in the hopes of greatly improving the social, political, economic and artistic issues in Africa.

ART X Lagos is the premier international art fair in West Africa, and a dynamic platform created to showcase and support contemporary culture from Africa and its diaspora. Since its launch in 2016, the fair has emerged as a global destination, drawing artists and galleries from over 70 countries, with attendees and participants from 170 nations worldwide, thus significantly expanding Lagos' global cultural positioning.
The Ninth edition of ART X Lagos will be held from 31 October - 3 November 2023.
