The 2024-2025 residency program, running from September 2024 to June 2025, welcomes a diverse group of artists to its vibrant community in Dakar, Senegal.
Founded by renowned artist Kehinde Wiley in 2019, Black Rock Senegal continues its mission to foster new artistic creation through collaborative exchange and reshaping global discourse about Africa.

Located on the Dakar shoreline amidst volcanic rocks, Black Rock Senegal offers a multidisciplinary residency that integrates living and studio spaces designed by Senegalese architect Abib Djenne, in collaboration with Wiley, Fatiya Djenne, and Aissa Dione.
