Through this partnership, the NGA seeks not only to preserve these valuable pieces but also to increase their accessibility to audiences worldwide. According to the CEO of Atsur Technologies, Adaobi Orajiaku, the company will be responsible for developing a sophisticated system designed to catalog and manage the extensive collection held by the NGA, ensuring accuracy and ease of access for researchers, students, and art enthusiasts alike.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to foster artistic talent within Nigeria while promoting gender inclusivity and enhancing the international profile of Nigerian art. By digitizing its archives, the NGA hopes to make it easier for people around the globe to appreciate and learn about Nigeria's vibrant cultural history without having to visit physically.

The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between both parties in Abuja, marking the beginning of what promises to be an innovative and fruitful collaboration. As technology continues to transform how we interact with culture and history, projects like this one represent exciting opportunities for countries looking to share their unique stories on a global stage.

With this move, Nigeria joins other nations leveraging modern technology solutions as tools for cultural preservation and dissemination, setting itself up as a leader in utilizing digital platforms for showcasing traditional arts.
