Netflix Opens exhibition, "Portrait of a Top Boy", to celebrate the show 'Top Boy's' final chapter

Netflix has opened a new exhibition to celebrate the powerful faces of its hit show "Top Boy." The exhibition, titled "Portrait of a Top Boy," is taking place at Somerset House's Embankment Galleries in London from September 9 to 13, 2023 and features 16 newly commissioned portraits from artists such as Brianna Parker, Gabriel Choto, Tejumola Butler Adenuga, Kione Grandison, Olivia Twist and Natasha Muluswela.

Each of the artists has explored their personal relationship with their chosen character, and their perception of what it means to be a "Top boy." The portraits are a powerful collection that reflects the complex and multifaceted nature of the show with diverse range of styles, from traditional oil paintings to abstract sculptures.


"Top Boy" is a British crime drama that follows the lives of drug dealers in Hackney, East London. The show has been praised for its realistic portrayal of urban street life and its complex characters. It was originally created by Ronan Bennett and aired on Channel 4 from 2011 to 2013. It was revived by Netflix in 2019 and has since become one of the streaming service's most popular shows. The third and final season of "Top Boy" premiered on Netflix on September 7, 2023.
