RnB singer, Usher’s New Music Video, “Ruin” features the work of Contemporary African Artists.

The official music video for “Ruin”by Usher Raymond and Nigerian Record Producer, Pheelz, presents a strong sense of African identity as it features art work by two Nigerian Artists, REWA & Ikechukwa Amos Christian!





Creatively Directed by Usher and Dave Meyers and Shot entirely on iPhone 15 Pro, the music video uses home as the allegory for love as USHER explores different meanings of it through a number of scenes throughout.

Nigerian Visual Artist Rewa, took to instagram to express her gratitude:


“I am THRILLED to announce that SIX of my works are featured in @usher's new music video, Ruin, with our homegrown, @pheelzgood. Yes, the @USHER Raymond!!!!!! Navigating my art career has been quite the journey. To think that my work is in front of such a global audience, being seen by millions of people, goes beyond even my wildest imaginations.”

The Afrobeats & Amapiano-infused song “Ruin” is track ten of the highly anticipated ninth studio album, “Coming Home,” and is also produced by Pheelz. USHER will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 11th.
